I am about to share some smart tips for self-studying.
Let's start...
- Have fixed sleeping and waking uptime.
- Have proper sleep for at least 7 hours. Our mind is not a machine. Even machines need a proper break. Never compromise on it.
- Study early and often our attention is highest in the morning. That's the best time when our brain is fully charged. Don't study late night sleep the whole day. This is a bad schedule.
- Study alone in a room when nobody comes to disturb you.
- Clear the clutter(अव्यवस्था) from your study area.
- Plan your day wisely.
- Always keep a bottle of water beside you whenever you are not able to study or need a nap. Just take a sip. It will work, just study.
- Try not to be comfortable while studying. Don't study in your bed. The more comfortable you are, the lazier you will be.
- Never study in front of a pedestal fan or a cooler as the wind coming from it will make your eyes dry and you will start feeling drowsy (सुस्त/नींद से भरा हुआ).
- Set5 time to study and stick to it, no matter what. Eventually, you will follow the pattern.
- Don't procrastinate (टालना). I will do later. No, do right now.
- Your mind will wander but don't let it. Learn to tell yourself to ''stop'' and get back to studying.
- If you feel lethargic (सुस्त) while studying, you can opt for power naps(15-20 mins) as it reduces mental fatigue.
- Take interest and be curious about what you're studying. Remember to learn by understanding, it'll simplify your learning. Learn so well that you can teach someone.
- Before beginning the new topic, ensure that all previous topics are revised once in brief.
- Analyze the previous year's exam questions.
- Prepare short notes for examination, as almost every one of us does.
- Always attempt the problem without looking for an answer.
- Never speak to people while preparing for your exam.
- Stay calm in examination hall- Your efforts will never go in vain, don't panic unnecessary and just write the paper and you are sure to get what you deserve.
- Don't carry things near to you which causes distractions.
- Keep Things all around Which remind you of your goal.
- Keep things or write past which pins you to work harder to be better than ever
Remember,'' It is not how many hours you put in, it's about what you put in the hour.''
My friend,'' You've got 2 choices:
- Do it now.
- Regret it later.
